We are looking for someone who is a pro-active and organised individual who can communicate effectively with students, tutors and stakeholders on an individual and group setting. The Role As a Student Support Mentor, you will responsible for delivering an effective and comprehensive induction and tutorial package primarily to full time students and Apprentices. You will be required to run a drop-in provision for those students seeking extra support on a variety of topics and areas, and meet with individuals and groups of 'At risk' students recording via Pro-monitor. You will then be responsible for delivering on course guidance and support with referrals to the wellbeing/welfare coaches and other internal departments for those students deemed 'At Risk' (e.g. Counselling and Wellbeing, Student Finance, Careers Guidance and Learning support) as appropriate. The role is permanent position on a 37 hours per week contract. The hours of work are term time only (39 weeks per academic year).
