Social Media Executive
If you're a creative, ideas-driven and socially savvy individual with a passion for interior design and/or home improvements, then we'd love to hear from you for this Social Media Executive role we've just started working on.
Our client is a forward-thinking, online retailer that has seen massive growth in the last 10 years; having just gone through an incredibly well executed re-brand, this is truly a great time to be joining this dynamic team! Based in their fun, open-plan offices just outside of Coventry, the marketing team of 10 offers a real 'family feel', and they all thrive off idea generation and creativity. So, if you want to be part of this sort of environment, please read on.
Reporting directly in to the Marketing and Communications Manager, but working closely with the Brand Manager and internal Designers, this role would be perfect for someone who is naturally creative and ideas led (and who wants to share and talk about their ideas!).
The main function of this Social Media Executive role is to support the Brand Manager in driving web traffic and revenue through customer engagement across all major social platforms, with a focus on Pinterest, Instagram, Twitter and Facebook. The ideal candidate will have been in a similar role previously, using these key platforms.
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Supporting the Brand Manager with implementation of the Marketing strategy
- Generate, edit, publish and share well considered daily social content
- Contribute to the online content plan
- Monitor campaign performance and analysis
We're looking for someone who is both creative yet analytical. We really want to hear from people who are excited about creating social campaigns and then reporting on their success with the use of Insights and Analytics - if you've got some examples of campaigns and their successes, then we'd love to see them!
You'll have the confidence to talk to internal stakeholders about social campaigns, as well as excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. What's more, you'll be a 'social sponge', constantly keeping up to date with emerging social trends and feeding new ideas back to the wider team.
There are a few things you really do need to have experience of to be considered for this Social Media Executive position, so if you tick them all, please whizz over your CV today:
- Adobe Creative Suite (ideally Photoshop and Illustrator)
- Social scheduling tool such as Hootsuite
- Google Analytics and Facebook Insights
