Technical Support Analyst - Oldham - £35,000


Our client is a leading software solutions company, who are looking for an excelling candidate to work as an Technical Support Analyst within their software support team. The ideal candidate will have most of the following skills:

* Strong knowledge and understanding of Microsoft SQL
* Excellent understanding of Windows Operating Systems and Applications
* Experience in a software support role
* Strong networking and infrastructure experience
* Switches and Firewalls
* Working within a team environment

The Role:

To provide high level technical and application support to clients, assisting them with software problems via phone, email and Service ticket system. To thoroughly investigate, document and manage the resolution process for tickets raised.

* Provide technical support via phone, email, remote and occasional on-site
* To solve all assigned support incidents through their lifecycle
* To manage own case load and escalate issues when required to the appropriate team
* To contribute to the software support desk
* Provide out of hours support when required
* Internal and Network support
* Develop positive working relationships with customers
* Contribute to project work
