I am currently working with an Ofsted rated ‘Good’ private training provider in the Liverpool area who are looking for a new member of staff to deliver Engineering Maintenance qualifications, specifically for the Food and Drink Industry, to apprentices gaining their BTEC or HNC. The company itself has been delivering Mechanical and Electrical qualifications for a number of years but since Sept 2017 they are now opening up a new way into the Food and Drink Industry by delivering their IAAP Lv 3 Maintenance Engineering for Food and Drink. This is where the new candidate will fit into the organisation. What we need is a qualified Maintenance Engineer with an understanding and background in the food manufacturing business – ideally aware and qualified on the Health and Safety side of things. All work will be classroom based but as the apprentices are on work placement in this industry, an up to date and current working knowledge of food manufacturing is essential. To be eligible you MUST have: - Maintenance Engineering Qualified / Experienced - A background in the Food Manufacturing industry Ideal candidates will also hold: - A recognised teaching qualification - A recognised assessor award - NEBOSH qualified (National General) In return a salary of £28,000 - £29,000 PA is on offer, 25 days holiday, company pension and all the usual trappings of permanent work – sick pay, childcare vouchers, travel to work scheme etc. I will be setting up telephone, and if possible, face to face interviews this week so if you are interested, don’t wait to apply, click the button below or give me a call to catch up before you commit to anything.
