Futureheads are partnering with a global digital agency that are searching for a Senior PHP Developer to join their team, with the opportunity to develop in to a leadership role whilst still undertaking hands on coding on a daily basis.

What sets this agency apart are the innovative projects they’ve completed for clients with a global presence. Some examples of these include:

  • A VR project for an automotive client that resulted in over a 45% increase in test drives.
  • Teamed up with a popular band to develop a driving app that composed original music, in real time, as the driver turned or changed speed.
  • Created a unique robot for a client running a music event. 10,000 Facebook fans of the brand took control of one pixel which they were in charge of releasing. This revealed the stars of the event, and resulted in over 32,000 new Facebook fans.
  • Redesign of a client’s website to overhaul the much-maligned customer experience with a new design language, CMS and processors using previous data. This led to the site winning the best website of the year twice in a row.

So, you can be a part of an agency covering VR, app development and creating award winning web experiences for their clients.

As a senior member of the team, you will also have the chance to communicate with clients and internal stakeholders regularly, providing ideas and solutions to complete projects in the way that you feel is most efficient.

They place an emphasis on developing their employee skills, celebrating team and individual success, so once you’re on board, you’ll feel at home straight away.

So, what do you need to apply?

  • On top of your excellent knowledge of LAMP technologies and PHP skills, you’ll be familiar with front-end technologies (Sass for CSS, HTML and JavaScript)
  • Experience with Object Oriented Programming.
  • Knowledge of integrating Web API’s with 3rd party systems such as SOAP and JSON.
  • Experience of using Grunt or Gulp.

You can be provided with training on this, but would be helpful if you also have experience:

  • Working with Drupal.
  • Working to the Laravel framework.
  • Test Driven Development.
