I am currently recruiting an exclusive 6 month FTC for a unique technology business based on the Cambridge Science Park. The role is working within a friendly but small finance team and this role will be a relatively stand alone position. The company offer a good remuneration package aswell as some other additional benefits. The company will consider candidates who are looking for between 30-37.5 hours per week. This position is an FTC however there is a strong possibility that the role could go permanent. The main duties of the role will be as follows: Purchase Order Process • Review and validation of PO requests Purchase Ledger (High Volume) • Print/ collate invoices, stamp and code/ cross reference to order • Post in sage • Obtain/ confirm authorisation • Reconcile supplier statements Sales Ledger (Low volume) • Raise invoices from billing and settlements team • Post to sage • Allocate cash received Credit card • Prepare summary of monthly credit card statements • Reconcile to PO orders/ invoices and receipts • Post to sage Expenses • Collate all monthly expenses • Reconcile to receipts and agree coding • Post to sage Successful applicants will be educated to A Level standard and will ideally have some experience within accountancy. It is desirable that candidates have atleast one years purchase ledger experience due to the nature of the role being a relatively stand alone position. Knowledge of Sage would be an advantage however not essential. Candidates must be computer literate and should be able to pick up new tasks quickly.
