Business Development Manager (Part-Time, 2 days per week), salary is in the region of £11,500 pa

My client are a highly reputable software company who are looking for a talented and professional candidate to join them as a part-time Business Development Manager, this position is part of a job share and will be for 2 days per week.

The company offer reliable and innovative products, designed with industry experience and genuine empathy for the daily challenges their clients face.

The role will be reporting to the General Manager and working in a team environment, you will be consulting with existing clients to provide them with solutions to increase their business revenue while meeting team goals and individual KPI's.

Responsibilities:

? Outbound calls to existing clients and manage key client accounts to ensure the software is being
used efficiently and account related issues are escalated to the appropriate teams to achieve
effective resolution.
? Consult with clients to determine the most suitable products for their business needs.
? Taking inbound client calls and converting them to a sales opportunity.
? Handling client issues and complaints, both as first point of contact with clients and dealing with
escalations from your team.
? Identify up-sell opportunities.
? Work alongside other departments when required.
? Manage team of 3 business development consultants and ensure department is operating effectively
and to budget.
? Manage team KPIs, carrying out regular performance reviews with all team members.
? Create weekly and monthly department status reports for senior management.
? Host regular team meetings with departmental staff.
? Mentor team members, providing guidance and career development.
? Maintain data in CRM systems relating to client accounts.
? Learn the product suite to an advanced standard to facilitate functionality discussions with external
and internal parties.
? Train business development team as necessary on sales and account management procedures.

Qualifications:

? Computer literate with good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
? Proven record in client account management and complaint handling.
? Relevant sales experience.
? Experience within the hair or beauty industry would be an advantage.
? Good understanding of technology and how it is applied in business from a software vendor
perspective.
? Demonstrable evidence of organising client accounts and revenue forecasting.
? Confident with a mature outlook.
? Excellent written, verbal and communications skills.
