My client is looking to recruit a Bid Writer to join their vibrant, energetic Bid team in Manchester. If you have extensive bid writing skills, gained within a commercial or public sector environment then please apply. 

Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate input for bids
Develop qualitative responses for bids
Build a comprehensive knowledge base of the markets in which the Group and all of its constituent divisions, operates, leading or taking an account management role for a specific division as required
Build an understanding of the political landscape, the industry, competitor providers and policy developments 
Research and present data pertinent to a particular bid, such as to support the solution design
Creating the best possible bids working to tight deadlines and are compliant with client requirements
Actively support tender proposals through bid writing, research, editing, formatting and facilitating smooth communication between the project team and external stakeholders
Create high quality text/diagrams for reference in the bid library
Assisting with the development and production of PQQs as well as bespoke submissions
Take full responsibility for PQQs
Provide comprehensive financial and administrative support to the Business Development Team from tracking discretionary spend to drafting non-disclosure agreements
Ensure Business Development Managers adhere to all internal policies and processes whilst moving through the various stages of the sales process
Providing administration support to the business development and bid team
Assist with the production of marketing materials
Co-ordinating post-tender feedback, evaluation and learning processes
Liaise and build relationships with key personnel, including internal subject matter experts and external partners to develop robust bid solutions
Conduct both internal and external research that supports the production of high quality bids
Support the continuous improvement process
Assist in the project management and day-to-day running of the bidding process for defined bids including administration of the Bid Governance meetings, producing information to support decision making relating to tenders and contributing to the maintaining of the Business Development pipeline
Maintain and update a fit-for-purpose bid collateral library.
Monitor online client tender portals for updates including new information, clarification question responses, new tender opportunities and tender notices as required.
Shared responsibility for income generation

Skills Required:
Educated to Degree level
Must have experience in a Bid role requiring excellent written English skills
Experience in a tender/bid writing role - Essential
Ideally have bid writing experience within a commercial or public sector/education capacity 
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong project management skills 
Both analytical and creative thinking skills
High levels of personal organisation
Must have MS Office products (Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Outlook)
Company Benefits:
Salary £28k- £35k (Depending on experience)
