This manufacturing organisation has significant backing and major plans to grow. The Operations Finance controller will work closely with the operations team to improve processes and reporting and look to support the opening of additional facilities.

Internationally recognised manufacturing brand who have recently secured significant backing for expansion.


The Operations Financial controller will be the go to person for the Operations Director on all things financial. You will control the standard costs ensuring that measures are in place for all products and that targets are met. you will identify and rectify variations to the standard costs.

  • Explanation of, and corrective actions developed for, variances to standard cost - labour, overhead

  • Critique of investment estimates for factory capital expenditure

  • Cashflow forecasting for factory investment

  • Cashflow forecasting for production supplier payments

  • Stock, WIP, and finished vehicle stock reporting

  • Financial control of stock optimisation activities

  • Production labour rates and overhead recovery

  • Warranty provision control - identify opportunities for warranty cost reduction and report variances to standard

  • Control of inbound logistics costs to a level reflected in vehicle standard cost and identify opportunities for improvement

  • Ensure all production parts are released into manufacturing in line with project assumed costs

  • Control of manufacture cost base; labour, overhead, and manufacturing facilities


The successful candidate will have experience of working with the management team of a manufacturing organisation. You will be a qualified Accountant with strong communication skills and track record of influencing.

Job Offer

£65,000 - £75,000 plus benefits
