We are currently recruiting for a talented, motivated and ambitious accounts clerk as part of our purchase ledger department in our central finance team based in Rugby.

As an accounts clerk - purchase ledger you will support the supervisors and accounts payable manager to ensure the smooth operation of an effective accounts payable function to the business.

As an accounts clerk - purchase ledger you will process paper e-invoices and credits onto the COINS accounting system and you will arrange approval for payments. You will also be required to deal with telephone and email queries from suppliers and subcontractors and the wider business.

You will have a sound educational background, educated to GCSE standard (or equivalent). You will have previous experience of accounts payable work and previous experience of working with a computerised ledger system and advanced excel skills.

This vacancy is for a fixed term contract of 6 months.
