My client is a leading consultancy firm whom are looking to add to their successful and ever growing Transfer Pricing team in city centre Manchester. The team imparts expert advice on every aspect of transfer pricing encompassing benchmarking, modelling and planning. There is a vacancy at Assistant Manager and Manager grade.

Description

The successful candidate at Assistant Manager level may have a background in transfer pricing, corporate tax or audit, for Manager level a background in Transfer Pricing is essential. They will attend client meetings from the beginning of their time at the business to discuss TP issues and opportunities. Due to this firm’s portfolio of clients there is a large amount of outbound TP planning and advisory work involved, and much less in terms of documentation.

Responsibilities

As an Assistant Manager / Manager, the candidate’s key responsibilities will include:

  • Contributing to the development of transfer pricing design, compliance and audit defence strategies
  • Drafting transfer pricing reports including economic and financial analyses to aid the client's position with HM tax authorities
  • Development of comparability analyses
  • Supporting the transfer pricing practice through the development of new services and analytical tools, and the assumption of practice management responsibilities

Requirements

  • Experience within practice and/or industry
  • Experience in dealing with transfer pricing issues and problem solving is beneficial
  • Client driven skills with strong commercial awareness
  • Ability to advance innovative ideas and solutions
  • Exceptional client relationship management skills alongside the ability to develop quality outputs
  • Strong project management skills
