This role has arisen due to continued growth within the company.
Your new role
As Accounts Assistant, you will work within a team of part qualified and qualified accountants assisting with the management of a portfolio of clients across a range of industries. You will hold responsibility for assisting with the preparation of management accounts, VAT returns and statutory financial statements. In addition, you will have the opportunity to get involved in adding value to your clients and develop an understanding of more than just the numbers.
What you'll need to succeed
Your previous experience in a similar role within an accountancy firm will allow you to understand the importance of managing a varied workload with strict deadlines, all whilst developing your commercial acumen and ability to spot additional opportunities for the firm. You will have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and a desire to develop your career over the coming years. You will be studying toward an ACCA or equivalent qualification and will be confident in the use of Sage, Xero etc.
