Manchester Primary Schools require Teaching Assistants
Your new school.
You will be working in a large three form entry primary school. The school is wonderfully resourced. The school is graded as good by Ofsted. In the past it has also been judged to be Outstanding and it has an excellent reputation in the local community. The school provides an excellent quality of learning to all its pupils, many of whom start at levels well below the national average. The relatively new head teacher is completely committed to ensuring that all her staff are happy and motivated to succeed. There is a very strong and experienced Senior Leadership team which ensures that there is opportunity and avenues for development for all primary teachers in school. Having recently visited the school I can vouch for the way that the staff and children clearly enjoy being there!
Your new role
You will be required to provide 1:1 Teaching Assistant support for pupils with various Special Educational Needs ranging from Autism, ADHD, Dyslexia and Behavioural and Learning Difficulties. You must be confident enough to work across Key Stage 1 and 2. As part of your role you will be expected to cover lunch times for both inside and outside play.
What you'll need to succeed

It is essential for you to have worked with pupils with Special Educational Needs on a 1:1 and group basis. You will need to have an understanding of the curriculum and be able to monitor pupils progress and understanding in order to provide feedback through the relevant channels.
What you'll get in return
- Holiday pay and pension contributions as you will be contracted by the school from September
