We are seeking a Database Administrator who could come from either an infrastructure or development background to join a leading global group building products tackling political and financial crime.
As the Database Administrator you will be working closely with the development group in a collaborative DevOps environment to maintain the highest level of service up-time, participating in in on-call rotations to monitor and support the client's products and devices, as well as taking recovery actions prior to and after disruptions. The Database Administrator will also work with other engineers in the team in applying software engineering principles to resolve problems impacting service up-time or operational efficiency.
Skills required for the Database Administrator:
- Systems configuration and administration experience with either Windows or Linux.
- Hands-on experience in database development (PSQL, DDL, DML)
- Hands-on experience in database troubleshooting, administration, and performance tuning using products such as Oracle, MySQL, MS SQL, Mongo DB, and Oracle.
- Design and management of highly available solutions using replication and various clustering solutions.
Salary: £45,000 - £50,000 + up to 10% Bonus and Benefits
