Data Reporting Manager

The Data Reporting Manager is at the heart of our examination processes, overseeing the review and analysis of data from the qualification cycle, providing direction for evaluation and forecasting for planning, scheduling and reporting for the examination process, operating to strict deadlines consistent with the regulators requirements.

What you’ll be doing
The position involves liaising with key stakeholders to determine what metrics are required and developing appropriate reporting. The data this role produces is used to support regulatory compliance, external reporting as well as measuring OCR’s internal operational performance and providing an evidence-base for continuous improvement. We would also expect the successful candidate to play a part in Project Cobalt (a 4-year group wide IT refresh project working to replace our legacy exam processing systems and customer administration portals), working alongside the existing post-holder as we re-engineer planning, scheduling and reporting activity for roll-out on new systems.
What we’re looking for
The position would suit a quick learner who is proactive and innovative when problem solving and keen to implement new ways of working to improve efficiencies. The successful applicant will have a proven ability with system-generated and manually crafted data-rich reports. A proven track record in manipulating information, identifying anomalies and ensuring the accuracy of own and others work, as well as the ability to provide insight on complex data sets and produce high quality management information reporting is essential to this role. Applicants must be proficient with Microsoft Office packages. Knowledge of SQL and VBA programming, data analysis packages (such as SAS) and reporting/visualisation tools (such as Crystal Reports, Business Objects and Power BI), is desirable, as is experience working with SAP
