If you’re looking for something more from your next project management opportunity, you’ll find it at FCO Services.

With responsibility for a £50million+ portfolio of government properties across the globe, we deliver a huge range of critical projects for our customers - everything from office refurbishments and major construction projects to installing global IT and communications systems and implementing critical security measures. Join us, and you’ll get to work on some of these varied and unique projects, ensuring they are delivered on time and to budget, and that they achieve the high levels of quality our customers demand.

Solve complex installation challenges around the world

You’ll oversee a variety of projects involving the installation of IT and comms equipment in government offices, embassies and other buildings around the world. From satellite and radio communications to WIFI and CCTV to structured cabling, you’ll set the work schedule for each project, making sure all the right contracts and resources are in place and solving any issues and logistical challenges that arise. At any one time, you could be working on a single, large project or have a dozen different global deployments on the go. The size and complexity of your projects will depend on your experience, and can range from £50k all the way up to £5m.

Throughout all your work, whether you’re negotiating agreements with contractors, contributing to front-end design, or helping deliver the final build, you will always be focused on increasing value for money and on improving the quality of the products and services we deliver.

Hone your skills in a fast-paced environment

We currently have a number of opportunities available for people of varying experience. Whatever level you join us at, you will need to be a highly competent logistical planner with an excellent understanding of relevant Health and Safety issues. Specific technical knowledge is not essential, but you must be familiar enough with the work involved to be able to speak confidently and knowledgeably with installation and design teams.

Given the critical nature of the projects you’ll be working on, it is important that you know how to manage multiple stakeholders and can communicate effectively not only with clients but with everyone involved in making it happen. It’s also important that you are someone who can always deliver, even when you have to work on several projects at once, and no matter how challenging or fast-paced the environment gets.

And take your career somewhere completely new

At FCO Services, we keep information, assets and people safe all around the world. Our customers, who include the Foreign & Commonwealth Office, look to us to respond with speed, agility and innovation to their ever-changing security challenges. This gives every job here added significance. It also offers an unusual level of variety and scope, not only in terms of the kind of projects you get to manage but the kind of buildings you get to work on as well. From fine residences to embassies, from bunkers to office blocks, you’ll be making a vital impact on unique projects all over the world.

All our employees have to be security cleared to the highest level, so you will need to undergo a comprehensive vetting process before joining.
