Salary £18,500 per annum
12 month fixed term contract
Our client are the leading professional association for school, college and system leaders. This is an exceptional opportunity for a graduate with some work experience to develop in a role which offers practical exposure to a broad range of marketing disciplines. Working as part of a successful, driven team you will have the opportunity to take ownership of projects and activities. Helping to support the delivery of the marketing strategy by delivering activities to generate new members, increase event delegate numbers and raise profile.
This is very much a hands on role in which you will work with the team on developing concepts and ensuring that activity delivers maximum impact. Further to this you will build, design and evaluate campaigns through a variety of channels and research the external operating environment including competitor analysis.
You will also have the opportunity to contribute to strategic planning and there will be scope for you to develop budget management and analytical skills to support your future career.
Their ideal candidate will hold a Marketing or other business related degree, have some previous experience in a marketing role and have experience in a customer orientated role. You must have understanding of digital marketing techniques including automation, MVT, browser abandonment, A/B Splits, PPC, impression advertising, etc.
It would be a strong advantage for you to have good analytical skills, excellent IT skills (inc Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook), an understanding of CRM systems and good research skills. Knowledge of InDesign and Photoshop would also be desirable.
They are strongly team and customer focussed and you will be required to engage with a wide range of people in this role. Therefore strong communication skills both written and orally are key to this position.
