An opportunity has been created for an experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk to join an expanding Construction company based at their Head Office in Heywood.

You will be given complete autonomy from start to finish and be responsible for closing the ledger of at month end.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who feels limited at the current company and wants to expand their purchase ledger experience to the next level.

Reporting directly in to the head of finance your duties will be varied and will include:

- Setting up weekly and monthly payment runs
- Assisting with month and year end purchase ledger duties
- Raising debit notes and requesting credit notes from suppliers
- Reconciliation of supplier accounts
- Match, batch and code invoices and input on to the system
