2nd Line Support Engineer
£25-30k (you will initially join the business on a three month contract, subject to successful initial period this will be converted to a permanent contract)

1st Line / 2nd Line / 3rd Line / Infrastructure / Support / Engineer / Windows / Wintel / Server / Hull / Humberside

My client, a service provider based in Hull has a requirement for a 2nd Line Support Engineer to join the expanding team.

The role:

Supporting around 140 members of onsite staff, along with remotely supporting a larger office based in the South, you will be the first point of contact for all queries and it is essential that you are a proactive and hands on IT Engineer.

You will be a senior figure within the team and will mentor a junior member of staff, knowledge sharing and upskilling where possible.

The Person:

Due to the hands on nature of the role it is essential that you have experience supporting the below, along with this you will be proactive in your approach, remotely supporting offices and closing down tickets throughout the day.

Active Directory including Group Policies
Windows Server 2008/2012
Windows 7/8
Remote support
3rd Party application support
Network Administration –TCP/IP, DNS / DHCP, Printers etc.
