Our Client is seeking a Credit Controller, to join their National Accounts Credit Control Dept.

The purpose of the role will be to provide administration support to the Credit Control team such as logging disputes and providing copy invoices etc. The Credit Controller will be looking after a small ledger so key accounts experience is not essential.

As the Credit Controller your responsibilities will include:

- Collect payments according to agreed terms, achieve cash collection targets and to resolve and minimise overdue debts.
- Ensure effective control of Customers by monitoring short-falls and taking appropriate action.
- Ensure all customer requirements are fulfilled and delivered on time. Escalate any serious issues to line accordingly
- Monitor large commercial queries ensuring that item(s) are progressed and resolved in timely manner
- Create and maintain customer contacts which may involve face to face meetings
- Create and maintain accurate Excel spreadsheets using information from the Sales Ledger.

As the Successful Credit Controller you will document the following:

- Remains calm and thinks clearly under pressure
- Adopts a methodical approach to work
- Experience of managing and solving challenging situations
- Previous Customer experience and team player required.
