SF Group are currently recruiting for an excellent Birmingham based client who are sourcing for an Interim Financial Controller. Working for an engaging SME business who are part of a wider group, the main duties of this role include:

  • Support the GM in developing and delivering the month end process
  • Production of management and statutory accounts to strict deadlines
  • Support the senior management team with financial and business strategy and regular commercial reporting to the owners and parent group
  • Play a key role in the implementation of a new accounting system
  • To be responsible for financial forecasting, planning, budgeting, modelling and scenario planning
  • Lead and manage the AR/AP and administration teams
  • Advise the Leadership Team regarding the financial considerations and implications of business activities and associated decisions
  • Promote and ensure fiscal responsibility throughout the region, ensuring financial, operational and compliance controls are maintained
  • Prepare all financial and statutory audits and reporting under UK GAAP, including UK group consolidation with overseas subsidiaries
  • To be responsible for working capital management, including cash-flow forecasting

This role is being offered on an on-going temporary basis with the potential for temporary to permanent for the right candidates. This is an urgent requirement and therefore applicants must be available at sort notice (1 week maximum).
