A brand new role within one of the UK’s most reputable hospitality companies in the UK with a wide number of brands everyone knows and loves, to be a Category Buyer â€" CAPEX and Maintenance.

The key categories this person will manage are CAPEX and Maintenance spend! The idea of this role is to be as commercial as possible in each area of spend managed, but also maintaining a high level of service delivery. The role will include the full mix of procurement roles and responsibilities, looking after a sole spend in the multi-million £’s.

Role responsibilities:

  • Support and work with the Senior Procurement Manager looking after CAPEX and Maintenance spend
  • Manage and lead, full tenders, sourcing projects, re-negotiations and current spend analysis
  • Analyse the market to advise internal stakeholders
  • Sell the benefits of procurement to the business leads and consult accordingly
  • Negotiate with suppliers to achieve the best cost and service for the business
  • Implement SLA's into new and existing supplier contracts
  • Draft contracts from scratch
  • Suggest new supplier opportunities from current and past market knowledge

Experience & requirements:

  • Previous procurement experience, specifically in CAPEX & Maintenance
  • Energetic, keen to work in a fast paced environment
  • Confident in negotiating and managing all levels of stakeholder
  • Able to analyse data and process it into advice / benefits for the business
  • Results and target driven
  • End to end procurement experience on a strategic level
  • MCIPS or degree qualified
