Our client is a leading £60m t/o Engineering business currently enjoying year on year growth, and well on track to continue this growth into 2018 and beyond. They are currently recruiting for an Assistant Management Accountant to join their diverse and supportive Finance team in what is an exciting and varied role that also offers a full study support package. Reporting directly to the Finance Management team, responsibilities will include:

- Production and consolidation of monthly management accounts
- Assisting with production of annual budgets and routine forecasts
- Accruals and Pre-payments
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Providing financial support to Operational management
- Journal entries
- Fixed Assets
- Working closely with the sales and purchase ledger teams to ensure accurate transactional processing
- Various ad hoc / project work as required by the business

Our client wants to consider a range of applicants; Finance & Accounting graduates wityh a minimum of a 2:1 (or equivalent), AAT Qualified or studying towards CIMA or ACCA but applicants must have a minimum of 2 years Accounts experience that includes Management Accounting. Strong MS Excel skills are essential.
