The SEO Manager is responsible for monitoring and ensuring the maintenance of the company's organic search performance. This includes proactively suggesting ideas and strategies for further improvement, alongside working with agency providers and internal teams to implement

FTSE 250 business based in Northampton


  • Monitor and evaluate web analytics dashboards and reports in order to develop and recommend SEO strategies, including but not limited to:
  • Google Analytics
  • Google My Business
  • Search Console
  • Undertake regular site audits and crawls in order to proactively identify any issues or areas of improvement
  • Appraise the relevant reading & research to stay up to date with industry trends, enabling the department to deliver 'best in class' search marketing

Monitor backlinks and brand mentions in order to proactively identify both opportunities and any risks that are involved in maintaining a healthy link profile


  • Thorough understanding of Screaming Frog, Moz, Semrush, Ahrefs and other standard SEO tools
  • Ability to successfully implement new SEO campaigns and monitor success of ROI
  • Demonstrable understanding of website architecture, crawlability, geo-targeting etc
  • Experience of developing outreach programs that deliver quality backlinks
