I'm a security specialist recruiter, looking to find a VERY special candidate for a once in a career role, with one of my clients. I'm looking for a degree educated (pref in a technical IT discipline, maybe Dev, Computer sciences, etc) who's some experience of working with business customers in a technical discipline, maybe 1st line support, sales, etc.
You'll already know if you're the right person for this job. You'll be THE BEST in your team, and know you're more capable than most of your colleagues. You'll be a little frustrated about the lack of progress, and the lack of technical excitement. You'll be craving more. You'll perhaps be online at night reading blogs to keep up to date on IT Security trends, and emerging threats. You'll maybe know that you want to spend your career in IT security.
Please know that this role IS CUSTOMER FACING, and you'll need to be confident and articulate in that respect, with the ability to achieve good outcomes from interactions.
