I am currently recruiting a brilliant opportunity for an Accounts Assistant to join an international business based in Skipton.

This is an incredibly flexible role:
• The successful candidate will join the business working part time – between 22-30 hours – at times convenient to the candidate.
• The role will initially be a 9 month Fixed Term Contract, however there is the strong possibility of a permanent placement for the right candidate.
• Candidates must be immediately available to commence their employment.

The role:
This is a varied and interesting role within a small, friendly team. Key responsibilities will include:
• Creating and distributing sales invoices
• Collect overdue debt via telephone and email
• Maintain strong relationships with key clients
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Invoice processing
• Assisting with month-end procedure
• Assisting with year-end procedure
• Suggesting improvements to the finance system

The ideal candidate:
• Will have strong knowledge of accounting including sales and purchase ledger
• Will be able to process invoices accurately
• Will have excellent communication skills
• Will be able to solve problems and identify weaknesses in processes
