Sense is recruiting a Head of Supporter Experience on a full time, permanent contract to our head office in King’s Cross London.

About the role

The Head of Supporter Experience will ensure all supporters for Sense and Sense International receive an exemplary level of care and attention. You will inspire and motivate them to continue connecting and contributing to our work, making a real impact to the lives of people living with complex communication needs.

As part of our strategic review, we are transitioning from a high proportion of commissioned services to a mixed portfolio of projects and services built to offer our Fundraising Team the best possible tools to acquire and develop supporters and partners.

About you

Can you deliver excellent customer relationship management in a Fundraising context? We highly value all of our supporters and want to ensure that we provide an exemplary level of care and attention to everyone who supports our work. You will work with a dynamic team of professionals and contribute to the development of the national Supporter Engagement Strategy and the achievement of significant growth in fundraising income.

Do you have the people management skills to work with the manager to develop the Supporter care team and ensure excellent relationships with supporters? You will encourage continuous improvement through review and evaluation of existing processes and agreements, and informed knowledge of how new communication channels impact in this area

Do you have the understanding of FR regulations, GDPR compliance, and data management to work with the Database management team to develop optimal use of the existing CRM system? Can you ensure accurate reporting, development and utilisation of the department’s data policy and strategy to drive the organisation’s understanding of its supporters and their needs?
