Monarch Education is seeking a Teaching Assistant to work in a Primary School in the Birmingham area. You will need a Level 3 or above qualification in education with experience in working with SEN pupils, these pupils may have identified Autism and ADHD. The successful candidate will start in February 2018 as a full-time position until the end of the academic year.
The Primary School is looking for someone who will have a confident approach and will be committed to pupil's progress. Team teach isn't essential but is an advantage when dealing with challenging behaviour. You will need brilliant communicational skills to deescalate situations within the classroom.
The Primary school prides themselves in having such a supportive team and having a strong senior leadership, they want to expand their team by adding someone who is confident in providing guidance and can advise to pupils about their education. Promote their general progress, teaching the national curriculum and Emotionally support the children. You will need to adapt to a working nature, implementing the school's development plan. Teaching accordingly to a pupil's educational abilities.
Qualification and Skills
*Minimum of a Level 3 qualification relating to Education / Child Care
*Previous experience of supporting children with SEN
