Accounts Assistant required for a long term temporary opportunity working for a well established business based in Grantham. You will be working as part of a small and friendly team where you will be responsible for matching, batching and coding up to invoices daily, obtaining authorisation and processing onto the system, processing the weekly payment runs, reconciling supplier accounts, allocating incoming payments onto the system, chasing outstanding debt by telephone and letter, opening new credit accounts and credit checking, issuing statements, dealing with queries on both the purchase and sales ledger, bank reconciliations and any other accounts duties as required.

Our client is looking for an experienced accounts assistant who can join the company and hit the ground running. Experience working with a computerised accounting system and excel are essential and you must have excellent communication skills, good attention to detail and be able to work to tight deadlines. This is a on going temporary role so you will need to be immediately available or on a short term notice period.
