About the Quality Assurance Technologist Role:

*Key responsibilities of the role will include, New Product Development, this will involve ensuring new products are acceptable in terms of quality and meeting standards both those in terms of local and international standards and also internal standards of the client and company.
*Support in the development of appropriate packaging and also care & usage instructions
*Work in collaboration with the Quality Manager to ensure all products meet internal compliance in terms of supply chain sourcing, ethical policies and quality.
*Provide support to commercial clients in terms of new lines and products as well as assisting in investigations into faults with existing lines
*Document Management to ensure all relevant documents are managed and administered in compliance with company and legal requirements
*Responsible for building long lasting professional relationships with stake holders at all levels both internally, with suppliers and also client organisations

About you as the Quality Assurance Technologist:

*You will come from a Quality Related back ground used to working in a fast paced FMCG product driven environment. Ideally previously experience working in within the retail supply chain or FMCG sector.
*A solid understanding of ethical sourcing, technical and social audits
*Professional understanding of British and European Testing Standards and Regulations relating to consumer goods.
*Experienced working with a supply based which is predominately located in the Far East would be advantageous
*IT literate, able to use the usual Office IT packages such as EXCEL and Word
*Confident speaking to and communicating with decision makers at all levels both internally, with suppliers and also client organisations
