General Practice Senior - Accounts, Tax & Audit
Are you an ACA / ACCA qualified (or qualified by experience) General Practice Senior / Accounts & Audit Senior from a small to medium size firm background who is looking for a general practice role mixed 50% statutory accounts, 30% taxation and up to 20% audit (optional and training will be provided)? Are you looking to upgrade to a good quality independent practice firm with one partner and around 4 staff, based in a prime location in the City area of Central London? If so, this growing independent accountancy practice firm in a prime location in Zone 1 Central London is looking to recruit a new member of staff due to impressive growth over the last few years. Your role will be varied, not only include preparing statutory accounts, tax computations and some audit work, but also many advisory based projects, cash flows, business plans, forecasting, corporate finance work, management accounts and other ad hoc projects. The client base is very varied and includes many international companies with a UK office. Clients are generally to £20m but there are a few with turnovers up to £100m. Your role will also include an element of staff supervision and office management duties as well.
To be considered for this newly created role it is likely you will be a qualified ACCA or ACA with at least 3 years experience working for a UK based practice firm. Your current role must include the above duties, specifically the preparation of statutory accounts, tax returns and either audit experience or a desire to carry out some audit work. You must also want to work in a varied, general practice role and in a smaller firm environment. Experience of a range of different software packages would be an advantage. You must also be a team player, and be able to work to tight deadlines.
