Temporary to permanent Payroll & Finance Assistant job in Glasgow. Paying £20 - £22,000
Your new company
You will be working for a not for profit organisation based in Glasgow. They require a Payroll & Finance Assistant for an initial temporary contract, which has the potential to be made permanent for the right candidate. The salary for the role ranges from £20,000 - £22,000. There is free onsite parking. Flexible working hours may be considered.
Your new role
You will report directly to the Finance Manager and you will have sole responsibility for the weekly and monthly payroll. You will process starters, leavers, ensure all deductions and statutory payments are processed correctly and on time. You will liaise with HMRC and ensure all legislation are adhered to. Furthermore, you will update all RTI and Auto Enrolment information. In addition to payroll you will be required to assist the wider finance function by processing invoices on both purchase and sales ledgers, assist with reconciliations and provide management with relevant reports.
What you'll need to succeed
You will have considerable experience within a similar role and be able to demonstrate in depth knowledge of current payroll legislation. You will be IT literate and have experience of using Excel.
