Support the Head of Data and Analysis in production and detailed analysis of data, allowing for solid the business in decision making and further understanding of customer behaviour through use of SAS and SQL

Support business process and governance improvement project across the Finance and Treasury departments

Description

Rebuilding processes and models within the Finance and Treasury departments, driving greater efficiency and stronger governance

Enhancements in understanding on customer behaviors for savings and mortgages.

Assisting developing and maintaining various statistic modeling for use within the Finance and Treasury departments

Assisting development of a RAD style development environment VBA environment for use with in the team and wider company (training will be provided within the team)

Maintaining and enhancing class modules and functions used within the RAD environment

Integration and simplification of existing process used within the Finance and Treasury departments

Act as a SME in model building and governance within the Finance and Treasury departments

Assist with ad hoc project work within the wider finance function

Build a strong detailed commercial and financial understanding of the business and wider macroeconomic environment. To be applied to model building and ad-hoc projects

Understand complex business requirements and translate from a need to a technical solution

Profile

Degree holder in a statistical subject.

Basic or Intermediate SQL and SAS or similar.

Track record of improving business process.

Working towards a professional accounting qualification, or willing to do so.

Job Offer

£24,000 - £28,000 per annum depending upon experience
