We are delighted to be heading up the search party for a talented and skilled Data Officer to work for a terrific international children's charity, supporting education and welfare projects for children and families living in poverty throughout the world.
Based in the charity's Manchester office, our new Data Officer will be responsible for providing an efficient database and administrative support for all income generated as a result of various fundraising channels. Your role will be to ensure that transactional and donor data is effectively captured, processed and reported. You must be comfortable configuring and maintaining fundraising databases, as well as being able to build complex reporting using tools such as Tableau.
Taking responsibility for database management including project management for module implementation, you will assist with new functionality and upgrades, ensuring the integrity of data and creating processes for checking data quality at both pre and post loading stage. You will play a lead role in devising and implementing policies for capturing data and act as the first point of contact for any queries relating to the database.

* Excellent organisational, planning and time management skills
* Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office software, including Word and Excel
* Knowledge of reporting dashboard (Tableau, Crystal Reports, Microsoft Power BI or similar)
* A good eye for detail and strong data skills
* Imaginative, creative, curious and a desire to learn
Experience and fluency with a fundraising database such as Donorfy, Raiser's Edge, Donorflex, ThankQ or similar would be highly desirable, although not essential if you can demonstrate experience with a comparable CRM database and are quick to learn. We would also be willing to consider flexi or home-based working for an exceptional candidate.
