Sun Chemical is the world’s leading graphic arts business. It supplies inks, pigments, coatings and associated products to customers in a wide range of markets and product segments.
They currently wish to recruit an accomplished and talented Environment, Health and Safety Specialist for their Senior E.H.S. Advisor position, working across its businesses and operations in the E.M.E.A. geography, with regular travel outside of the UK.
Working at sites across the EMEA, you will report to the EHS Director, EMEA. As a member of the high-profile global EHS team, you will provide professional input to achieve continued improvement in EHS performance and ensure compliance with legal requirements and Sun Chemical standards.
Senior E.H.S Advisor Role
As Senior E.H.S Advisor, your daily activities will be varied, but may include:
- Development of policies, procedures, guidance, training programmes, safety alerts, standards
- Professional guidance and training for less experienced EHS specialists and business leaders
- Planning, developing, leading specific EHS programmes and initiatives across Europe
- Risk assessment and incident investigation
- Leading EHS audits
Ideal candidates will be suitably qualified Environment, Health and Safety specialists who can demonstrate several years of solid experience across EHS activities, and in impacting measurably improvements in EHS performance in significant businesses, preferably including manufacturing operations and laboratories.
Experience within the Chemicals / Coatings Sector along with Internation experience is desirable, as well as some foreign language skills.
