Assistant Product Manager

Northamptonshire

Monday to Friday, 39 hours per week

Permanent

£30,000, plus 10% bonus paid quarterly

25 days holiday, pension, incentives

This trends conscious fast paced, award winning company based in Northampton, are looking for an ambitious, motivated Assistant Product Manager who will support the product team on a premium range of products: you will gain insight from various sources to understand fashion peaks /trends, competitors, product sales etc. You will be working with the marketing communications and depots with product specifications, product expertise, market data and range reviewing.

Key Responsibilities for the Assistant Product Manager

  • Inputting projects, timings and status updates in to the product plan and ensuring the projects are delivered to schedule escalating where appropriate
  • Reviewing competitor product specifications, ranges, price and communications
  • Co-ordinating the final product specification information
  • Creating documents to support product roll out including ensuring the assigned product pricing is created
  • Logging feedback and coming up with solutions to the requests
  • Proofing brochures and price lists ensuring these are accurate and inspirationally display the assigned products
  • Briefing and approving communication material for events - boards, packs and labels
  • Managing samples for on-site and photography


Skills and Experience Required from the Assistant Product Manager include:

  • Previous experience working in a product team, i.e. marketing, buying
  • Excellent organisational and planning skills
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to be logical and methodical in your approach
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills, including Excel and PowerPoint
  • A full clean driving license
