IT Transformation Programme Manager

JLT Group IT function is based in the company's London Offices and provides shared services to the Group. A large proportion of this organisation supports the three main UK operations, namely our Specialty Insurance, Reinsurance and Employee Benefits Businesses as well as delivering JLT Group / Global technology functions and capabilities.

Job summary

Working directly for our Global IT Transformation Director, you will be accountable for the successful delivery of all Transformation Programme workstreams to meet agreed outcomes and timescales.

Main responsibilities will include:

  • Run Programme Governance including chairing the Programme Board
  • Accountable for programme planning, tracking, risk and issue management for the significant programme budgets
  • Manage programme stakeholder relationships and expectations
  • Provide direction and management to project managers
  • Ensure a suitable skilled programme team through performance management, recruitment and exiting team members to ensure the right resource and skill mix is available to deliver agreed objectives

Successful candidates will be able to demonstrate

  • Extensive experience in having delivered a number of complex IT programmes in multiple organsiations
  • Good and practical knowledge of programme management methodologies and associated professional standards
  • Matrix Management of programme teams
  • Commerciality, resilience and assertiveness
  • Good understanding of IT products and services
  • Experience in managing and communicating with external and outsourcing suppliers
  • MSP or similar qualification
  • Exceptional ability to operate with, and influence, Senior stakeholders
