A wonderful opportunity has become available for an experienced nursing professional with a passion for working with elderly patients and leading nursing teams to work as a Deputy Manager/Clinicnal Lead in Banbury, Oxfordshire!!!!!
This role presents a unique opportunity to join a caring, fun and forward thinking business which is currently in its early stages of development.
This exciting role is based at a 40+ Bedded 'Good' rated CQC Nursing Home.
You will be experienced in ensuring the effective Nursing of the Home and the planning, implementation and evaluation of patient care as part of a multi-disciplinary team. With previous experience in conducting care audits, monitoring standards of care and promoting high standards of nursing care for your team and actively seeking ways to improve levels of service.
Deputising for the Home Manager, you will take a leadership role for the team, ensuring all staff are supervised appropriately and rotas are in place to enable the smooth, efficient running of the business.
Compliance and Quality
·Ensure compliance with all legal, regulatory and best practice guidelines ensuring all risks are proactively managed and issues identified, investigated and resolved;
·Conduct care audits and monitor standards of care and take corrective action where appropriate

Professional Nursing
·Oversee all aspects of medicine management, ensuring medicines are appropriately received, stored and administered to our clients;
·Be prepared to cope with incidents or emergency situations as they arise and report them to the Home Manager;
·Report to Clinical Manager any relevant changes in patients’ conditions and situations.

Performance and Leadership
·Take a leadership role for the team, ensuring all staff are supervised appropriately and rotas are in place to enable the smooth, efficient running of the business;
·Take an active role in the development of yourself and others ensuring the team’s skill and knowledge levels are able to meet the changing needs of the business;
