The role

I am currently supporting a well-respected brand in their search for an In-Store Support Specialist to join their Consumable division.

This is a field based role, whereby you will be the ambassador for the company providing retail staff training, in-store merchandising and consumer demonstrations to outlets selling the devices. This is a great opportunity to learn the technicality behind cameras, imaging and audio devices within a commercially faced role.

Your passion for photography and the devices will be paramount to this opportunity as you can portray and demonstrate the wide-ranged portfolio of products with clients of various levels. Due to the client engagement and relationship building element, it is important to possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Knowledge of the photography market or photography retail management is advantageous, however if you have an interest within photography and own a camera, yet would like to the opportunity to represent revolutionary products for a career? - This could be your next step!

The successful candidate will be based within the North of the UK to cover territory North of England and Scotland.

This is Fixed Term Contract role for 12 months with potential of full-time employment thereafter.

The requirements

For this role, you will have a genuine interest in photography and camera devices, but aside from this you will also have:

  • Experience of retail merchandising or photographic retail management (Desired)
  • Experience providing in-store demonstrations on consumer electronic devices. (Desired)
  • The Ability to organise, manage and plan time effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft applications.
  • Ability to develop and maintain relationships both internally and externally at all levels.
