An exciting opportunity has become available at the Proact Stadium. We are currently looking to recruit a head physiotherapist to lead our Medical department to develop, organise, co-ordinate and implement physiotherapy services for our professional playing squad.
Duties will include managing the day to day running of the Medical team, implementing injury risk mitigation strategies, application of evidence informed assessment, diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation of injuries and liaising closely with the first-team manager and chief executive to help maximise player availability for training and matches.
The role will be based at the Proact Stadium and Training Ground and will include working all first team games, home and away, including overnight stays when necessary. A detailed job description will be discussed with candidates invited to interview for the role.

Chartered Physiotherapist with CSP and HCPC registration
Seven years' post-graduate experience
Dynamic innovative approach to their work
Excellent communication skills
Ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team in a time-sensitive environment
Current AREA and/or ATMMiF certificate
Experience of working in professional sport
Masters in Physiotherapy/Sport & Exercise Medicine or equivalent
Degree in sports science
Post-grad qualification in manual therapy
Attendance at all first team games, home and away, including overnight stays when required.
Enhanced DBS check required
Full driving licence
