A new exciting role as arisen for an individual who is looking for a new challenge. My client is a market leader within the Hire & Rental services across a wide range of different industry sectors.

They provide their services to Facilities Management, Government and Health Services, Hospitality, Financial and many more.

They are looking for a General Ledger Assistant who can support the Accounts Manager with the following duties…

•Supporting and Assisting the Purchase Ledger
•Processing Web expenses for staff
•Reconciling Bank accounts
•Processing X Hire purchase invoices
•Preparing payment list for Suppliers monthly
•EU Sales monthly
•RDCO monthly
•Processing credit card payments for directors
•Assisting month end with Accounts Manager
•Reconciling Balance Sheet accounts
•Maintaining the fixed asset register
•Vehicle & Finance agreements
•Preparing VAT Return

Candidate Specification

The ideal candidate would have at least 2 years experience as a Accounts Assistant or within a similar and be confident with SAGE and Double entry.

• Reliable
• Able to pick things up quickly
• Experience with using Sage
• Experience using Microsoft works, excel and outlook
• Insphire system experience – desirable, training will be given
• Double entry

Parking is available. Hours will be 08.30 – 16.30 Monday to Friday with half hour lunch break
