We currently have an exciting opportunity within our Change Portfolio Management Office for two PMO Analysts to join the team initially on a 3 month fixed term contract.
The PMO Analyst will be responsible for supporting delivery of consistent and effective PMO processes.

What you'll be doing
The PMO Analyst will be responsible for supporting delivery of consistent and effective PMO processes. This will include ensuring routine and ad-hoc management information reports contain relevant and quality information, project/programme progress is effectively monitored, project/programme plans and resource profiles are accurately maintained; project/programme risks, issues and dependencies are monitored and maintained. This role is also responsible for providing direction, guidance and assistance to project/programme teams to ensure that appropriate governance and controls are in place and that the standard processes and procedures are adhered to.

The Knowledge & Skills you’ll have

Up to date Practitioner level Management of Portfolio qualification (OGC), P30, Prince2 or equivalent or a commitment to study and achieve within two years
Previous PMO Analyst or Programme / Portfolio Analyst experience
Experience of working with multiple business areas in a relationship management capacity
Portfolio level progress report production and analysis to differing levels of stakeholders
Industry standard PMO processes and methodologies
Industry standard project and programme methodologies
Experienced in the use of project and portfolio management tools
Vision and value focused and experience of reporting and presenting information to Senior Management level
Strong stakeholder relationship management and influencing skills
Excellent Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project, Visio and SharePoint skills
Strong communication skills – can make the complex simple (in verbal, written and presentation styles)
Proactive, collaborative, forward looking, flexible attitude with the ability to challenge constructively - knows how to get things done
Strong attention to detail with the ability to deal with ambiguity.
