Job Title: Payroll Assistant

Location: Cheshire - Stockport
Salary: to £22500 + company benefits

Our client is an established accountancy practice, they are looking to recruit a Payroll Assistant for a permanent position in Stockport

Skills Required
Duties will include

The ideal candidate will have good IT skills and adapt well to change.
Reporting to the Payroll Manager, you will be responsible, with a team of 3 others for
Dealing with payroll for a portfolio of varied clients
Processing weekly, fortnightly, 4 weekly and monthly payrolls
Sick pay, holiday pay - Maternity and paternity leave
Managing existing relationships with clients
Responding to client queries
Producing payslips and various reports
Preparing payments
Starters, leavers, P45's etc.
Auto Enrolment assessments and pension uploads

Qualifications Required
About you:

12 month’s payroll experience
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
Professional telephone manner
Strong excel skills
An understanding of HMRC regulations and payroll requirements
Experience of SAGE advantageous
