Customer Service Advisor needed for a permanent contract in Bath for a local housing association

Your new company

You will be joining a leading housing association who is passionate about helping tenants within the local community. You will be joining an organisation who is looking for people who want to continually grow and develop to make their business the best.

Your new role

You will be working as a customer service officer and will support tenants on voids, tenancies and general management of a portfolio of properties. You will be working on a full time (37.5 hours) permanent basis. Working in line with the organisations policies and procedures you will manage the property from notice of termination or vacation through to check outs and preparation for new tenants. You will be the first point of contact for any tenant queries this may involve liaising with letting agents, contractors and other functions as well as managing and resolving enquiries, queries and problems. You will create tenancy agreements and information packs for all new tenants and ensure both tenants and system are fully updated. As a customer service advisor you may also worker with landlords to ensure properties have sign off on all utility/council tax bills and you will be liaising with the organisation's rent teams or the landlord directly.

What you'll need to succeed

Previous experience working within a busy environment will be essential to this role. You must have good communication skills both verbal and written. You must have the ability to work in a busy environment and be able to prioritise when necessary. Due to the nature of the role we need you to have sound system skills and consider yourself I.T. proficient particularly with Microsoft office packages such as Word and Excel.
