An established local company based between Aylesbury and Bicester on the A41 is seeking an AV / CCTV / Access Control Installation Engineer to join its expanding team.

The company supply, install and support AV, Access Control and IT equipment in schools, offices and boardrooms throughout Buckinghamshire and surrounding counties. As an IAG Installation Engineer your duties will include:

- Supplying and installing at client sites, including:
- CCTV systems, supporting older technologies as well as installing and commissioning IP based systems.
- Access Control Systems
- Visual Systems – Projectors, Large Screens Monitors, Interactive Technology, Video Walls, Video Conferencing, Stage Lighting
- Audio Systems – Classroom & Hall Sound Systems, Hearing Aid Solutions.
- IT Hardware & cabling – Data cabling, Fiber Optic cabling, Network Switches
- Supporting clients with the use of AV and IT equipment installed on their site.
- Working with schools, offices and boardrooms throughout Bucks and surrounding counties.
- Maintaining equipment to ensure it is of a high standard for the next client.
- Visiting clients for evaluations and quotes.
- Proving support and assistance from the office location when not on customer sites.

To be a successful IAG Installation Engineer you will have the following skills and experience:

- A customer service role working closely with clients.
- Knowledge of Access Control Systems, including Paxton & ACT.
- Knowledge of CCTV Systems, including HIKVision.
- An understanding of the technology involved in the AV Industry, along with cable terminations (VGA, Cat5e/6).
- Knowledge of control systems (Kramer, AMX, Leviton, DMX, RS232, TCP/IP controls).
- High quality techniques, including PVC trunking & conduit work.
- Ability to ascertain best methods to provide a visually pleasing installation.
- Mounting hardware knowledge and understanding.

If you have the above skills and knowledge gained in a similar role that would be great but not essential as training can be provided for the right candidate. You will be required to travel to client’s sites on a very regular basis, so a full, clean driving license is essential. A company van will be provided for you.

In return, the Installation Engineer will receive a salary of up to £30,000 per annum depending on experience.
