You will be working within one of the UKs top 10 accountancy firms based in the heart of Manchester city centre. The firm have seen sustained growth over recent years and as such are looking to recruit a Purchase Ledger Clerk to their busy team.
Your new role
As a Purchase Ledger Clerk you will be responsible for reviewing receipts and payment transaction requests as well as checking and verifying documents. You will be required to check invoices and raise queries when necessary, follow up missing information whilst also scanning and coding invoices. You will process invoices and payment runs on a bespoke system and deal with any
What you'll need to succeed
In order to undertake this role you must have worked within a purchase ledger role previously. You should be able to work to deadlines and targets as well as be happy working in a fast paced environment. Ideally you will have had exposure to Sage however this is not essential.
What you'll get in return
In return this firm are offering a competitive salary of £19,000 and benefits package which includes a company pension, 22 days holiday and a flexible benefits scheme which allows employees to purchase up to 10 extra days holiday. You will be working Monday to Friday 09:00 - 17:30 with 1 hour for lunch,(flexibility can be given on a case by case basis). The firm have a modern offices in the city centre and you will be joining a friendly and supportive team.
