The Leadership & Change Executive plays a hands on role in supporting the Leadership & Change team in achieving the business aims and goals through effective strategy. They will be expected to take ownership on assigned tasks, develop a project plan and deliver results in line with this plan.

This role will provide the opportunity to develop the following skills:
• development of management skills, including project management and ability to work independently and manage own time providing regular updates to senior team members
• sound understanding of how Grant Thornton delivers on assignments and the service lines available
• be given an opportunity to develop skillset to work independently, with initiative, manage own time and develop business case for projects
• unique exposure to senior leaders
• unique exposure to strategy side of our network including how this is developed and how it is executed

Job Description:

Markets
• Responsibility for research function including the commissioning of reports requested by senor leaders. Liaise with internal departments to obtain reports, perform initial review of reports and consolidate and feedback comments on quality and content.
• Assist senior management in the form of analysis of financial information, tailoring of documents to specific circumstances etc
• identifies where relevant knowledge and expertise sits within the firm and the methods of accessing it
• develops and maintains contacts in the business community and with university/college alumni
• maintains and grows network of contacts elsewhere in the firm in order to share relevant knowledge and information and prevent duplication of effort
• involved in office marketing events and is an 'ambassador' of the firm
• attends networking events with peers in other intermediary and banking firms to establish a profile locally

Clients
• responsible for undertaking and completing projects with some direction and supervision, including having own work reviewed
• primary contact when undertaking a project
• establishes rapport with external and internal contacts, with a clear understanding of their expectations
• communicates issues arising with all effected parties, including matters which were not identified at the scoping stage
• attends meetings where appropriate, contributing where relevant and taking minutes. Proactively encourages the senior manager to follow up on agreed actions
• where a written report is required, produces a quality document for review by a manager with limited review points
• ensures the efficient use of appropriate software packages e.g. Caseware, Excel, PowerPoint, Word
• maintains up to date understanding of our business and the market in which we operate in
• communicates clearly and concisely both verbally and in writing
