My client is currently hiring for a Sales Manager to join their growing team based in Manchester. They are an ambitious brand with plans to grow further over the next few years and as such they are looking for motivated, dedicated staff who are very customer focused.

Role responsibilities:

  • Store based role, face to face retail sales selling to both business and residential customers
  • Telephone sales - calling previous customers who showed an interest with the intent to close the sale over the phone
  • Sending emails to customers and keeping spreadsheets up to date
  • Responsible for opening and closing the branch

Person specification:

  • Previous retail sales experience is essential
  • Comfortable selling over the phone
  • Able to demonstrate a track record of sales success
  • Able to demonstrate initiative in satisfying complex customer needs
  • Highly motivated with a desire to exceed KPI’s
  • Strong sales and closing skills
  • Technology savvy and computer literate
  • Excellent relationship and rapport building skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Flexibility to work Monday to Sunday on a shift rota basis
