My client are a growing service based organisation who have undergone considerable structural and ownership change in the last 2 years. Based in their new offices in East Manchester, they have grown, and are continuing to grow a strong finance function. This role is a fantastic opportunity for a newly qualified management accountant, who has experience in working closely with budget holders around the business, analysing their year to date spend and working through any variance to budget to take ownership of several cost centres in the business, and to be a business partner with those budget holders. The key responsibilities will be to:
-Review monthly P&L to ensure completeness and accuracy
-Provide analysis and comments on all key variances to budget
-Lead and participate in planning meetings with budget holders
-Provide further detailed analysis as required by the Management
-Provide financial support to key cost centre manager
To be successful in your application for this role, you will hold a full UK accounting qualification (ACA/CIMA/ACCA) or be in the latter stages of study. Previous experience in a management accounting position is essential.
