Our client is looking to recruit a permanent Accounts Assistant to join their busy team in Dudley. The hours of work will be 9-5 Monday - Friday with 1 hour to lunch.

Daily duties

  • Maintain Purchase Ledger
  • Match, batch and code invoices
  • Prepare payment runs
  • Statement reconciliations
  • Maintain Sales Ledger
  • Allocate cash
  • Prepare sales invoices
  • Chase debt via telephone, letter and email
  • Posting of Cashbook entries to Nominal, Sales and Purchase Ledger
  • Resolve supplier queries
  • Maintaining Financial records and spreadsheets on Excel
  • Maintain systems using Sage 200
  • General ad-hoc duties
